We have an exciting opportunity to join the Te Rangimarie Hospice team at Westown, New Plymouth as our in-house Housekeeper / Cook.

This is a part-time position working 22 hours per week (every 2nd weekend included in these hours).

In this role, you will provide a high standard of kitchen and housekeeping services - meeting the needs of our patients, staff and volunteers.

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

  • The ability to work closely with others in a team environment
  • A reliable, friendly, and professional manner,
  • Have a strong focus on food hygiene and cleanliness,
  • Food Safety Certificate (preferred)

Hospice Palliative Care Registered Nurses Inpatient and Community Care

Job Description

If you have a desire to work with hospice palliative care then this is an opportunity to join an outstanding team committed to making a difference for people living with a terminal illness.

We currently have vacancies for both permanent and one-year parental leave positions. The successful applicants will work across inpatient and community care services once full training has been provided.

Vacancies include:

-              0.8 FTE (4 days per week) permanent roles

-              0.6 FTE (3 days per week) for a period of one year (commencing May 2022).

-              0.1 FTE (2 days per week and 1 weekend in five) permanent to assist in the South and Central Taranaki area.

Palliative care experience would be an advantage, although full training will be provided on appointment. The positions include night and weekend work as part of the roster and the community work includes short periods of being on-call.

We offer an excellent orientation programme with ongoing professional development opportunities within a supportive and friendly workplace alongside a team dedicated to helping people make the most of life.
