From Your Farm
Farmers can pledge a 4-day-old calf or a 100kg weaner (Hereford or Friesian) to support Hospice Taranaki.
Transport costs are covered by the farmer, and NAIT tags should be used.
Hospice Taranaki calf ear tags are available upon request from your ambassador, sponsored by Allflex.
Alternatively, the value of a calf can be donated directly
This initiative helps raise essential funds to provide free care to patients and their whānau.

Bonnie is turning 40 this year—and instead of gifts or parties, she’s chosen to do something incredibly special. Beginning 12th April, Bonnie is dedicating 40 days to fundraising in honour of her late mum, Julie.
Julie was Bonnie’s greatest support, her safe place, her mum—and this milestone birthday feels deeply significant without her. In response, Bonnie is channelling her love and grief into something powerful: raising funds to support the compassionate care provided by Te Kahu Pairuri Hospice Taranaki.
Throughout her 40 days, Bonnie will be undertaking a variety of fundraising activities and sharing her journey through her Facebook page. It’s a deeply personal way to honour the memory of someone who meant the world to her—and to give back to others going through similar experiences.
We invite you to follow along, support where you can, and share Bonnie’s page with your own networks. All funds raised will be gratefully received as gifts to pass forward—providing comfort, dignity and support to patients and their whānau.

Topping Family – Running for the late great Ivy Topping
During radiation treatment, Ivy Topping, renowned Taranaki sportswoman and her family, thought up the idea of running the Auckland Marathon and other running events as a way of celebrating Ivy’s life and raising money / awareness for Te Kahu Pairuri Hospice Taranaki and Ozanam House (Palmerston North).
Ivys’ daughters Carron Jerram (ex NZ Silver Fern) and Jayne Rapley (Photographer) have motivated 21 members of their whānau to take part in various running events throughout New Zealand. This includes Ivys’ grandchildren and wider family.
They believe running these events are not only a great way to honour Ivy but also provide a postive, healthy challenge for the famliy to focus on together.
Carron believes the Auckland Marathon is an iconic event and will support them in sending their message to a large audience.
Over the next 14 weeks the family will be following a strict training plan and even getting shirts printed.
Carron is setting up a give-a-little page for supporters to donate to Te Kahu Pairuri Hospice Taranaki and Ozanam House so that these charities can continue to provide quality care for people in their time of need. “We want the community to support us by donating to these two amazing charities, so that they can continue to care for people in their time of need, (sic) they were unbelievable during our mums battle with cancer” Carron Jerram.
Hospice Taranaki is truly thankful for the energy and time given by the family of Ivy Topping and their supporters. Their fundraising contribution will help us to provide quality hospice care, comfort and support, free of charge to patients and their whānau.
Thank You For Making a Difference for Hospice!
