Celebrating Friendship and Blossoms in Te Rangimarie

I really like this time of year when we start to look toward blooms and Hester is thinking the same thing when she recently donated this specially bred rose to our Lianne for our Te Rangimarie garden.
We are delighted to accept this rose called “In Friendship” bred especially for the celebrations of 100 years of Inner Wheel New Zealand. Bred by rose breeder: Bob Matthews of Matthews Nurseries Ltd Whanganaui.
The rose will be a true red floribunda rose, displaying clusters of many petalled blooms, free flowering on a bushy, robust growing plant.
Hester will help us to keep an eye on the rose as she is a wonderful volunteer helping us in Te Rangimarie. Thank you for this very special In Friendship rose.
