COVID - 19 Are you visiting a patient in Te Rangimarie - then please read this first

The wellbeing of patients, staff and volunteers and their families/whanau is always our top priority, we therefore ask that you consider the following questions if you are planning to visit our Hospice:

  • Are you at risk of having COVID-19?
  • Have you been in close physical contact with someone who is suspected of or is a confirmed case of COVID -19?
  • Have you travelled from Mainland China, Iran, Italy or the Republic of Korea in the last 14 days?
  • Have you travelled from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand AND have flue-like symptoms, fever or acute respiratory illness?

If you are planning to visit the Inpatient Unit (Te Rangimarie) and have answered YES to any of the above - DO NOT ENTER THE HOSPICE BUILDING.

Please ring us on 06 753 7830 and staff can assist you in making a decision as to whether it is safe to visit in the interest of protecting our patients, staff and volunteers.

Visitors who are well, are very welcome to visit patients at Te Rangimarie Hospice - please use sanitiser on entry and departure.

Hospice Taranaki has an active pandemic plan.
