Waiwhakaiho HospiceShop Moving Just Metres Away – Reopening Monday 22 June
Exciting changes are underway at our Waiwhakaiho HospiceShop, with the store relocating just metres from its current premises into a larger, brighter space that will provide a better shopping and donating experience for our community.
To make the move possible, the current shop will close on Thursday 18 June and remain closed on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June. The new store will officially open its doors at 9.00am on Monday 22 June.
While the move may only be a short distance, it has been a significant undertaking that has been many months in the making. Along the way, a wonderful team of people have generously contributed their time, skills and energy to help bring the project to life.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the builders, handymen, painters, volunteers and supporters who have worked behind the scenes to prepare the new premises. Special recognition also goes to Waiwhakaiho HospiceShop Manager and Group Retail Manager, Tania Brown, whose determination and countless hours of work have helped guide this project from concept to reality, along with her dedicated staff team.
The new premises will provide more room for stock, improved access for donations, and a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers. Best of all, every purchase and donation continues to help fund Hospice care throughout our community.
When the doors open on Monday 22 June, shoppers can expect many, many bargains throughout the store, along with the same friendly team and welcoming atmosphere they know and love.
